A love of amigurumi – well, the idea of amigurumi – was one thing that spurred me on to learn crochet. This is Rupert, the first bunny I made, out of cheap acrylic yarn. He’s kind of wonky and for some reason reminds me more of a lamb than a bunny, but he’s cool anyway. And he has a vest.
Rearranging bookshelves has brought old photos albums to light. Me at 13/14 with brother at 10/11. I loved that watch. I love that brother too but I really loved that watch.
Well that’s pretty.
When the Gorge is in winter flood it’s hard to believe that you could ever swim in it on lazy summer days. Also I still can’t believe I can just pop over to somewhere like this five minutes away and have lunch in between filming sessions.

Oh I wish everyone could see @comefromawayau - it was just as wonderful in Sydney as in Melbourne. It’s the kind of theatre I want to make and the kind of music I want to play.
So the Archibald was packed of course. I wondered if I’d find the winner more engaging in person but nope. Underwhelming to me. Old white man. Yes the subject is a 100 year old artist (did they pick it because the Archibald is 100 this year?) but…there were many more interesting works I thought.
