On one level the fact that I’ve already spent over $1000 on medical bills in six months this year is kind of upsetting. But one great thing is that I’ve finally reached the Medicare Safety Net threshold. This means that now although I’ll still need to pay the $80 and $110 bills, I get all but $8.40 back from my Medicare claim. Woohoo! Yay for Medicare!
Not a triplet but a…twentytwoplet? I think I underestimated this piece.
So the layers aren’t even, and there should be nine. But seven layers taste just as good! And it means I just need to make it another time to practise :)
New post at The Bexfiles (link in bio). Also, the post is not about Paris but I rather like this photo of stairs at the Arc de Triomphe.
It’s an exciting day. We’ve not had a functional stove since before Christmas. Our valiant camping hot plate did its best but now we have this marvellous induction cooktop and I can’t believe how fast a pot of water boils on it. Also so grateful to know a retired sparky to install it and refuse to accept payment :)
More practising. It’s funny how you can create a narrative out of nothing. I took my camera along on my walk to shoot just a bunch of footage to muck around with. Now it feels like there’s a story here. Also I get to see what my hair looks like from the back…I like it! :)
