Oh I wish everyone could see @comefromawayau - it was just as wonderful in Sydney as in Melbourne. It’s the kind of theatre I want to make and the kind of music I want to play.
So the Archibald was packed of course. I wondered if I’d find the winner more engaging in person but nope. Underwhelming to me. Old white man. Yes the subject is a 100 year old artist (did they pick it because the Archibald is 100 this year?) but…there were many more interesting works I thought.
Sitting here and scoffing at all the Sydneysiders in their puffer jackets. It’ll be a lovely 19 degrees today and sunny! Looking forward to wandering the shops and up to the art gallery.
